Analysis of the Main Statistics Indicators of the Population Living Standard on the Example of the North-Caucasian Federal District

Abstract

This article discusses the main socio-economic indicators characterizing the living standard of the population in the North Caucasian Federal District. Effective socio-economic development of the region, regulation of local governance and statutory acts are connected with the necessity to obtain and timely analyze complete, reliable and scientifically grounded official statistical information based on social, economic, demographic, environmental and other public phenomena in the district. Since incomes serve the main source of satisfying personal needs of the population in consumer goods, services, events for the spiritual development of a person, and etc. the analysis of the system of statistics indicators of the living standard of the population begins with income indicators. In the process of the research, the structure of incomes is analyzed according to their composition, receipt and use. The purpose of the study is economic and statistical assessment of the main social indicators on the example of the North Caucasian Federal District. The object of the study is some of social indicators of the North Caucasian Federal District. The paper analyzes cash income, consumer spending, average monthly wages of organizations’ employees in 2019, as well as the number of unemployed in all regions of the district. To fulfil this task, data published on the official website of the Federal State Statistics Service were analyzed.
