Evolutionary Models of Competitiveness of Modern Economy

Abstract

At present changes in world economy are connected with the appearance of new indicators and categories of market economy which are different from the ones existing before. In this connection, it is necessary to change the view on the questions of maintenance of modern economy competitiveness. The article considers evolution of models of maintenance of economy competitiveness on the basis of generalization of basic elements of competitive environment playing a paramount role in the economy development of different periods in the end of XX and the beginnings of XXI century. Preconditions of maintenance study of modern economy competitiveness are considered. In the modern economic system a number of competitive barriers which have changed production and consumption was generated. Competitive struggle for the consumer has passed from goods quality to goods uniqueness. The process of maintenance of modern economy competitiveness under present development conditions is made up of quite different factors and elements. From the point of view of strategic development of marketing advantages three basic models of maintenance of economy functioning are substantiated: steady market competition model, competitive development strategy model, and competitiveness model on the basis of low costs. The model of competitiveness maintenance of 2009-2017 is based on the search of new sources of economic growth. The question of increase of growth rates in all branches of the economy is made the corner stone instead of well-being increase of the population. The model of competitiveness maintenance of 2009-2017 seems to stop its existence soon. Absence of preconditions to forecasting in the model does not allow generating complete idea about future economy. There are preconditions to formation of new model of maintenance of economy competitiveness of the future.
