Problems and Prospects of Cluster-network Development of the Region (On the Example of Altai Republic)

Abstract

Assessment of cluster-network development of the regions is necessary for effective planning and forecasting of the regional economy taking into account its organizational structure. Mmanagement cluster-network approach is the most appropriate for those regions where the predominant cluster structure of the economy has developed. In this regard, there is a need to take into account the nature of the features and the form of network interactions of clusters. Cluster-network structures are a driving factor in the development of the regions. Network effects appear within clusters, between clusters and extraclusters forming a single cluster-network space, which is accompanied by transformational processes to optimize the regional structure of the economy. Feature of such cluster-network structures management is the necessity of taking into account of the group of factors promoting development of inter-cluster organization, formation of network systems and multiplicate effect from cluster-network interaction.
