The article is devoted to the research of regional economy development on the example of Aktubinsk region and estimation of the prospects of its competitiveness increase in interrelation with the banking activity. The accent is made on the fact that banks are capable to estimate the potential of social and economic development of the region accurately and to reveal both problem, and perspective points of the regional economy growth. Because of the urgency of the question of territorial disproportions leveling, this theme is of great practical value for the economy of Kazakhstan on the whole.Downloads
