Under the developed market conditions characterized by import substitution because of the sanctions concerning separate branches of the economy of Russia, the necessity of working out of complex strategy of the Russian Federation including the strategy of the regions social and economic development is more and more actualized. Today the regional policy is in the foreground and its problem is to manage territorial development taking into account the functioning features of a certain region. It is necessary to consider the circumstance, that effective region functioning and development, growth of the population well-being, and increase of social security of the citizens depend both on the policy of the region’s authorities, and on the chosen tools and region’s management methods. Taking these factors into account, strategic planning is the basic tool providing efficient control of the territories, as it can define the main objective of the region development, the priority directions of social and economic development, and criteria and indicators allowing to estimate attainability of the planned results and to reveal the problem moments which require updating.Downloads
