Youth as a Necessary Element of the Development of Higher Schools Scientific Potential

Abstract

Overcoming the systemic crisis and achieving sustainable economic development are the most acute problems for modern Russia. One of the main factors directly influencing the dynamics of economic growth should be provision of conditions for human capital accumulation as training of highly qualified specialists creates the basis for innovative development of the country. In addition, it is a prerequisite for carrying out the required structural changes in the national economy, introduction of modern advances in technology and production, and, consequently, a means for Russia’s getting out of recession. To solve the problems associated with the development and use of the model of high-tech development of the domestic economy and formation of the society based on knowledge, it is necessary to study the conditions and mechanisms of interaction between various institutions of business, science and education. The higher school should play the leading role in this process. It should provide the interrelation between science and production, thereby creating the basis for innovative development of the national economy. To accomplish this it is necessary to improve constantly not only the educational process at the universities, but also to pay considerable attention to the attraction of students to scientific work and to provide conditions for young scientists to realize their creative potential.
