RURAL TERRITORIES: CATEGORY AND STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS

The purpose of the article is to carry out the analysis of rural territories from the point of view of categories and definition of the rural territories structure as a whole and on the example of the regions of Russia (Ivanovskaya, Vladimirskaya, Kostromskaya and Yaroslavskaya regions). According to the results of the research it is revealed that attribution of the territories as rural ones is a debatable question. The conclusion is made that rural territories are comllex structured system. The problem of depopulation of rural territories as one of sharp social and economic problems of Russia is emphasized. Measures on the development of rural territories are presented. Realization of these measures should be complex social and economic transformations, otherwise negative tendencies in village will be worsened, and the country will have huge unpopulated and unused territories not included in the development in any way.Downloads
