Digital Transformation as a Priority Direction for the Development of Service Industry

In the article, the authors consider implementation of digital transformation process as one of the strategic goals of national development of the Russian Federation. That is why the issue of clear understanding of the essence and content of the term under study becomes of considerable relevance. The authors noted that it is advisable to clearly distinguish the concepts of digital transformation and digitalization. The article presents the results of the analysis of separate approaches to interpretation of the concepts of "digitalization" and "digital transformation". The author's variants of defining the essence of the concepts under study are formulated. Advantages of timely and qualitative assessment of digital maturity for modern service enterprises are characterized.Downloads
