Theoretic-methodological Bases of IT Maintenance of Project Management Corporate System in the Project -oriented Organizations

The architectural-building projecting enterprises refer to project-oriented organizations, the activity specificity of which defines special approaches to project management corporate system (PMCS). As a rule, they are characterized by high enough level of administrative and managerial and methodological elements PMCS. Thus information-technological maintenance of project activity is frequently limited to application of specialized software for automation of the process of the project documents working out. Project management system as a basis of effective functioning of the enterprise is either not supported by the corresponding applied solutions, or the tools automating separate problems of management are applied to its maintenance. Possibilities of the full-function information systems, allowing to carry out the complex automated support of project management at the corporate level are underestimated, and expenses for their introduction are considered as inexpedient. Insufficient attention to the problem of information-technological maintenance of managerial process of project activity along with underestimation of high potential of modern information systems and technologies have stipulated the urgency of the carrying out of the research of theoretic - methodological bases of PMCS and allocation of the basic functionality and tools of project management information system (PMIS) taking into account the specificity of the activity. Complex use of all PMCS elements on a uniform methodological basis will provide realization of the system approach to project management and its automated support that will promote increase of the efficiency of the enterprises activity in the sphere of architectural-building projecting.Downloads
