Consumer Loan: the Analysis of the Clients’ Search Request

The article deals with statistics of interest in various consumer loans. In particular, we consider the number of Yandex search requests with different phrases related to the concept of «loan» in order to study the demand for loan. The article clearly shows the dependence of loans issued on the key rate of the Central Bank of Russia, and considers the aspect of information asymmetry. In the end of the article the conclusions about the research are made. The result of the study is the conclusion about the importance of crediting as a smoothing consumption factor, the conclusion about the dependence of the number of loans on many factors and about the importance of the ability of the banks to identify reliable borrowers for stable development.Downloads
