Under modern conditions provision of financial-economic independence of local government is an important direction of a municipal policy of the state. It is necessary to replace financial help from federal and regional budgets with the receipts from own profitable sources in the budgets of municipalities. Performance of the functions of local government by municipalities should be provided mainly with own financial resources. Only in this case local governments can carry out the functions qualitatively and in full volume. The expansion of taxable base of local government is an important problem of the state. The directions of perfection of financial-economic independence of local government according to the Federal Law№ 131 “About the General Principles of Organization of Local Government in the Russian Federation” adopted in October, 6th, 2003 -F3 are considered in the articleDownloads
