MODERN PROBLEMS OF REGIONAL LABOUR MIGRATION

Abstract

Social - economic transformations in the country, demographic situation, changes in the labour market lead to strengthening of labour migration. Low birth rate, high death rate and life expectancy growth cause ageing and reduction of the population. All these, in its turn, negatively influences the labour market. With the emerging of modern technological possibilities, means of communications and with the changes in the world, regional labour migration amplifies. Generated by social and economic, political and other factors, labour migration of the population considerably influences economic, social, political and demographic situation in the region. State regulation of regional labour migration is an important problem. The researches of the directions of state regulation of regional labour migration, and socio-economic factors influencing labour migration in the regions are not paid due attention to. In the article the basic tendencies of regional labour migration in modern Russia are considered on the basis of the analysis of the demographic situation. The major factors influencing labour migration in the regions are revealed and analyzed
