Problems and prospects of development and use of innovative potential of Altai Territory

Abstract

Сharacteristic of different elements of innovative potential of Altai Territory is presented in the article and estimation of their influence on the prospects of innovative development of the region according to the mission on innovative modernization and further diversification of the structures of regional economy is given. The current state of innovative potential is considered and data on the basic achievements of territory commercial and research organizations in the sphere of innovative activity are presented. In the article the analysis of territory manpower from the point of view of their intellectual and innovative potential interrelating with the Concept of Innovative Development and the Strategy of Social and Economic Development of Altai Territory is given. The condition of science personnel according to the age, skill level and number is estimated. The factors defining innovative activity and innovative possibilities of Altai Territory are cited. Conclusions on the prospects and risks of innovative development of Altai Territory are made.
